Here at Muir Lake Community Alliance Church, we not only value family but we also value the children which belong to those families. As a church, we take pride in our Children's Ministries, and believe that children need their own time of worship in order to grow and mature in Christ. Two key elements make up our Children's Ministry program - The Nursery and Kid Zone.
The Nursery
Our Nursery is a supervised room where parents can leave their children (ages 0 to 3) in the care of loving, experienced volunteers. Our customized Plan to Protect Program, ensures that all Nursery volunteers adhere to the Program and follow the rules and guidelines established for the church. For the safety of not only your children, but our volunteers, it is mandated that ALL children in the Nursery are signed in and out by a parent.
Kid Zone
Our Kid Zone program is our Preschool aged and Elementary aged children's time of worship. The children are led by caring, experienced teachers and helpers who help them to grow in Christ and in their faith by learning songs, making crafts, and participating in a weekly lesson. All lessons that the children partake in are administered by our teachers and helpers using bible-based curriculum as provided by the church. Like The Nursery, our customized Plan to Protect Program, ensures that all Kid Zone volunteers adhere to the Program and follow the rules and guidelines established for the church.
Kid Zone is divided into 3 classes:
- Preschool (ages 4 and Kindergarten) - Children are required to be signed in and out by a parent.
- Grades 1 and 2 - Children are not required to be signed in and out by a parent.
- Grades 3 to 6 - Children are not required to be signed in and out by a parent.
